Evin Somerstein is one of Atlanta’s most respected Family Law attorneys and a founding partner of Hunter, Weinstein & Somerstein, L.L.C. For more than 26 years, Evin has represented clients in all aspects of Family Law including complex divorce matters, division of high asset marital estates, custody and support, as well as prenuptial agreements, post-divorce modifications, and legitimations. Understanding that the benefits of reaching agreements often far outweigh the costs of trial, Evin takes pride in in producing creative solutions for his clients through alternative approaches including his work through the Amicable Divorce Network, Collaborative Law, Mediation and Arbitration.

Evin is a member of the John Longstreet Weltner Family Law Inn of Court. Considered one of the “pioneers” in the Atlanta Collaborative Law community, Evin is a founding member of the Atlanta Collaborative Divorce Alliance, has authored numerous articles relating to family law and regularly serves as a guest speaker in the legal community. He is a 1994 graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law and received his undergraduate degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia in 1989. Evin has achieved an “AV Preeminent” peer review rating by Martindale-Hubble, the highest award given to attorneys based on their legal expertise, communication skills, and ethical standards.
When not working, Evin enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, plays golf whenever the opportunity arises, and shares his love of music through guitar.
