Sheri Hardin, LCSW, is a psychotherapist and divorce coach in private practice in Decatur, GA, specializing in individual and couples therapy. Her passion is helping people find the strength to go through difficulties they encounter, gain direction if they feel lost and uncertain about the future, and heal from the pain of adversity and heartbreak.
With over 25 years working in the field of mental health, Sheri brings her passion for personal growth and love of learning to her clients. She recognizes that despite all best efforts, some relationships do end. Having gone through her own divorce, she knows first hand the overwhelming emotions one can go through when facing something so life changing. With her extensive training and experience helping couples work on their relationships, she is particularly knowledgeable about what does and doesn’t work in relationships and what is involved in getting out of them. She is passionate about helping people through all the stages of the separation or divorce process, including figuring out if that is the right decision, going through the process of divorce, and redefining one’s life on the other side.
Divorce can feel scary, lonely, and comes with so much uncertainty about the future. You don’t have to manage the overwhelming emotions alone.
Her varied background in different mental health settings, including a counseling center, hospice care, emergency room, and a psychiatric hospital, have given her rich experiences that inform her current work as a psychotherapist. She appreciates working with clients of all sexual orientations and gender identities, as well as all spiritual and religious backgrounds.
Sheri spends her free time (in non-covid times) swing dancing, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her super fun teenage daughter taking in musical theater.
